NGC 5033
NGC 5033 is located in the constellation Canes Venatici (Hunting Dogs) at a distance of 43 Million light-years from Earth.
This galaxy
has two distinctly separate galactic nuclei which suggests that it is the result of a merger of two different galaxies sometime with the last several hundred million years. The outstretched spiral arms indicate that as well.
