NGC 2264 - The Cone Nebula, Christmas Tree Cluster and Fox Fur Nebula
NGC 2264 is the catalog designation for three object in total: The Cone Nebula on the left side of the photograph, which is an emission nebula, the Christmas Tree star cluster, which is an open star cluster in the center of the phtotograh and the Fox Fur Nebula at the center right of the photograph, which is also an emission nebula.
All of the objects are located in the constellation Monoceros and are approximately 2,500 light-years away from Earth.
