NGC 7000 - The North America Nebula, an emission nebula of intensely active star formation, lies in the constellation of Cygnus (The Swan). The North America Nebula is about 2,590 light-years away from earth and is about 140 light-years across.
For a size comparison, our entire solar system is only about 13 light-hours across.
